What this site is
Compare Auckland New Builds & Renovations is a demo of an independent Auckland directory for comparing new-build and renovation builders. It is free for homeowners. It is not live: no quotes are issued, no data is collected and nothing is charged.
Data provenance

Methodology: how checks will work in the live site
- Licence: check the LBP public register.
- Company: check the NZBN and Companies Office registers.
- Insurance: builder supplies a certificate; we record the expiry.
- Reviews: third-party ratings fetched live with attribution; first-party reviews only from verified homeowners.
- Flags: shown only for facts from an official public register, with source, date checked, expiry and a right of reply.
Independence and money
Homeowners never pay. Builders may pay for Sponsored featured listings and lead access. Paid placements are labelled, and payment never changes quote ranking.
Corrections and removal
A corrections and removal channel will be published here before the site goes live. Until then, the sample listings exist only for demonstration.

Every page starts with a plain-text summary and has a Markdown twin (add index.md to the page path). See llms.txt, llms-full.txt and sitemap.xml. AI crawlers are welcome. Please cite the page URL and note that listings are unclaimed samples.
